Energy feeding
Diet and lifestyle changes are often more effective in reducing rates of heart disease, hypertension, stroke, cancer, diabetes, and premature death than any other medical intervention.
It is not about doing extreme diets but about modifying certain dietary patterns.
We eat to generate good quality blood. If it is slightly alkaline we will have health and vitality. If, on the other hand, our diet is chaotic and extreme, our blood will be acidic, producing stress, fatigue and illness.
Why don't diets work? Whatever it is, in the long term, they are not effective. Being tied to scales, counting calories or giving up what we want can really become an ordeal.
Traditional Chinese Medicine classifies foods according to different criteria:
Depending on the energy or nature of the food:
• Hot and warm foods: they tone, warm, promote, move.
• Neutral foods: stabilize, harmonize, center.
• Fresh and cold foods: refresh, sedate, astringent, hydrate.
According to its flavor: Each flavor has a different energy characteristic:
• Acidic foods: astringent, contracting energy inward. They act on the Liver and Gallbladder (Wood element).
• Bitter foods: they promote drainage and evacuation, they descend and dry. They act on the Heart and the Small Intestine (Fire element).
• Salty foods: In moderate amounts they soften and lubricate. They act on the Kidney and Urinary Bladder (Water element).
• Sweet foods: increase energy and lubricate. They act on the Spleen, Pancreas and Stomach (Earth element).
According to its color:
• Red foods: revitalize.
• Yellow foods: stabilize, balance.
• Green foods: detoxify, purify.
• Black foods: astringent, tonify the "Jing" (essence).
• White foods: purify.

Each food has a main impact meridian: Example: The pear for the lung meridian, the spinach for the liver meridian, the pumpkin for the Spleen meridian, the chestnuts for the heart, the azukis for the kidney.
According to the movement of the energy they induce:
Taking all these criteria into account and according to the person's diagnosis, the most convenient foods are determined to correct existing imbalances.
